Thanks to a lot of hard work out at Caplin Memorial Speedway it looks like we are in our final stages of getting the getting the track back to Saturday night racing! Steve at Amperage Electric has been doing a terrific job getting our lights back on our track! Last Saturday there was a whole bunch of us out there doing many different things like weed control, securing the entrance and exit gates, getting our water supply set up for the coming year, trenching for electrical wiring, and a whole lot of electrical work. We even had a pizza party thanks to Dennis S. The club has been working tirelessly and everything from donations, time, and expertise is and has been greatly appreciated. You all rock!

I just got off the phone and secured one our most important race night necessities, the porta-potties. Once again Fresh and Clean gave us a deep discount so we can do our business at the track! I am so thankful that our community has helped us this year, with Lafarge, Sunny Fence, Albuquerque Fence, Amperage Electric, A S. Horner, National Electric Supply, Lusty Monk Mustard, Fresh and Clean and Hollywood Hills Speedway to name a few. As a club we are proud to be associated with these fine companies.

With Easter coming up this weekend I want to wish everyone the best, I hope all of you can take the time to spend it with your families and concentrate on the important things in your lives. We have a big track cleanup day scheduled for March 19^th of this month and I am looking forward to seeing all of you again. There are always weeds to clear, general cleanup, and there may even be an opportunity to do some painting.
