As President of ASK I want to personally thank everyone that has donated and, or volunteered to help our club this year. I am totally amazed at the amount of help that everyone is giving to club. We had Eclipse and Rooms For Rent rocking for us, Lusty Monk Mustard (kind of catchy isn’t it?) donate all of the snack foods and drinks for our show. We had a whole slew of volunteers run the concert for us and on top of that we had a great crowd of people show up for the concert.

Today we started securing the track by burying posts to prepare for rolling gates to get on to the track and at the exit of the track. Thanks to the Bairds for donating posts, Jay for securing posts the auger to dig the holes and Sunny Fence for the swinging gates. Wim Dons came up real big with a trailer full of swinging gates and fencing from Albuquerque Fence Co.

The biggest donation came from Steve at Lafarge. I couldn’t believe my eyes when Steve, Cindy, and Amber, a new Jr. I driver, drove up with the concrete truck and spent the time filling up our fresh post holes with donated concrete!!!  A huge thanks to everyone who showed up and busted their tails, I am in awe of the way this club makes things happen!
