Hello all. I have very sad news, our track was hit again. 10 times worse then last year. All wiring gone, waterpump gone, both trucks gas tanks and radiators gone. PNM boxes gone. One part of the fence down by the score tower the cement block moved and the fence ran over. You get the picture however there is more. I am having a meeting Saturday at 9am to decide if we are going to have a season or if Caplin is closing for now. Hope to see everyone out at the track. Any questions feel free to call me.

Speedway Karting at Harvey Caplin Memorial
Speedway is what karting calls Oval track racing, whether it's on dirt or asphalt.
Sideways racing action on specially built oval karts is what it's all about here.
Caplin Speedway is a short oval with a clay surface 1/5 mile in length,
high banking, looks simple, but offers quite a challenge.
As in other karting divisions, there are Speedway Karting classes for both 2 and 4-cycle engines.
Divided by engine type as well as the drivers age and experience. There's a place for just about anyone who wants to race.
